    The time and the light

Shooting with analog camera changes the approach of photography. The time between the moment you shoot and the moment where you see the photo can last days, week or months instead of seconds with the digital camera.

The other great difference comes from the device itself and the process. A digital camera transforms image in a sequence of 1 and 0. Then you need your camera or a computer to see the photo. On the other side, the process of analog camera illustrates the definition of photography : the art or process of producing images by the action of light on a sensitive surface.

We can then consider that with analog camera, the image only exists because the light has touched the objects, persons, buildings placed in front of you, this reflected light came on the roll, then the from the roll to the photographic paper. So when you see an image, you see a part (or particles) of what the photographer saw.
